Rush is back.
After the tragic 2020 death of Rush's co-founder and drummer Neil Peart, it seemed that would be the end of the band. But in the years since Peart's passing, guitarist Alex Lifeson and lead singer/bassist Geddy Lee have enjoyed occasionally getting together and playing. And then they started getting together and playing Rush material.
One thing led to another, and they decided maybe, just maybe they could play some concerts. After gaining the blessing of Peart's family, they decided to look around for someone to play drums. But just HOW do you replace the irreplaceable? Enter German born drummer Anika Nilles. They feel she is a perfect fit for Rush's material. And then it became official. Together, they'll launch a Rush tour on June 7, in Los Angeles. Get all the details of the tour, and buy tickets here.
To celebrate next summer's tour, we're taking you back to a hometown concert during Rush's "Moving Pictures" tour. It was a legendary performance captured live at Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto, Otario, Canada, on March 25, 1981- the final night of a 3 night stand in Toronto.
Don’t miss rick legends Rush- they’re headlining the next Live in Concert.
