Pearl Jam

Wrigley Field, Chicago, IL, August 18, 2018

Perl Jam has always been known as a socially conscious band. So it was no surprise when the band launched an initiative to help the homeless community in their hometown of Seattle, Washington.

Pearl Jam inspired local citizens to get involved, donate time, register to vote, and help the homeless. For their part, the band rocked! They launched a short tour they called "the Home Shows" and "The Away Shows." Those home shows were in Saettle, while the away shows were in Missoula, Montana, Chicago, and Boston.

On this broadcast of Live in Concert, we'll take you to the first of two concerts they played in Chicago. It was August 18, 2018, at Wrigley Field- home of the Chicago Cubs! Since the Cubs were away in Pittsburgh playing the Pirates, Wrigley Field was available. Eddie Vedder is a huge Cub fan, and performing live, right there in center field, brought out an intense performance! And be sure not to miss the band's heartfelt tribute to Tom Petty.

Don’t miss Pearl Jam- they’re headlining the next Live in Concert.
